Starting The Anti-Fungal Diet

Now that you have completed the Detox phase, you are ready to begin Phase Two, the Anti-Fungal Diet.

The purpose of the Detox phase was to flush as much of the Fungal yeast out of your colon as possible, to allow your liver and kidneys to catch up on filtering out the toxins, to alkalize your tissues, and to give your body a break from digesting more laborious anabolic foods like meats.

Now that you have accomplished this, you can start to switch to a more balanced diet with some more complex carbohydrates and protein. You will be following this diet through this stage and the next two stages, as you add in some probiotics (Phase 3) and antifungals (Phase 4). Once you reach Phase 5 you can start to reintroduce some of the foods that are still missing from your diet. So be patient, and gradually you will get more and more variety included back into your diet. Slow and steady wins this race!

The foods that you can eat during your Anti-Fungal Diet are not chosen only because they are low in simple carbohydrates and sugar (although this is very important). There are also foods that contain natural probiotics and prebiotics, foods that reduce inflammation, and foods that are supportive of your immune system. We have included lots of foods that are high in different types of macronutrients (i.e., proteins, fats, fiber, and carbohydrates) and micronutrients (i.e., vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients) to give you lots of ways to optimally nourish your body during this process.
