Fruits: The YES List

Avocado

Lemon

Lime

Many people choose to avoid fruit entirely during this stage, or at least during the first week or two of the diet. In fact, those on an anti-fungal diet should avoid all fruits for the first few weeks. However, others find that adding some low sugar fruits to their diet is compatible with an anti-fungal diet.

Avocado is a particularly useful food during the anti-fungal diet. Low in carbohydrates but high in healthy fats, avocados are a great addition to most salads. They are satisfying food with a considerable amount of good calories and fats (which help to satiate your appetite) so they can prevent you from feeling too hungry, a common complaint during the diet.

Lemons and limes are other good choices. They both have an extremely low Glycemic Load while helping to alkalize the tissues and maintain an appropriate gut pH.
