In Phase Four, it’s time to add back a few more foods and move slowly towards your long term, healthy diet plan. Here are some key points to understand about Phase Four.
Introduce low-sugar foods slowly and one at a time
Give yourself 3-4 days in between reintroductions to ensure you do not have a ‘delayed hypersensitivity reaction’.
Work towards a sustainable, balanced, long-term diet plan
Don’t be tempted to revert to sugary snacks or junk food. Try to build a long term eating plan that incorporates lots of healthy vegetables.
